Dated by Haring. No Paperwork, the Haring Foundation does not yet authenticate the subway drawings. . However, Elizabeth Sussman (Curator of Haring Show) and Whitney and Julia Gruen (Dir. Haring Foundation) and Phillips DePury experts all agree it is an excellent example of Haring's subway works of this period.
Seller took the drawings off the wall of the 42nd Street, Times Square Subway station in 1984. The drawings are mounted on canvas side by side, as they were originally displayed. Seller will give notarized letter with sale.
Other Condition
The drawings show some wear, see photos. This is normal for Keith Haring subway drawings.
