This is a 1/1 composition before the edition for a former close friend and collector of Richard MacDonald, with a current value of $175,000 for the normal edition, this sculpture is a one of a kind, it was the first Joie de Vivre by Richard MacDonald. The one off pieces from Richard MacDonald Studios are valued at 40% more than retail. The composition is not from the mold of the JDV but made up from the waxes of the single figures by the sculptor. With value of $245,000 this is the most important sculpture in the Joie de Vivre series and for sale at $144,000.
