This original oil painting was purchased by a Red Cross volunteer who assisted this gallery in moving artwork in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She spent 6 weeks as a Red Cross volunteer working in New Orleans. This original painting has now been donated to the local Red Cross chapter by this volunteer. The Red Cross is hoping to sell this painting and use the dollars received to support disaster relief efforts here in Wisconsin.
