Provenance & Extra Info
This oil painting was purchased by an American Red Cross disaster volunteer while she was on assignment in New Orleans assisting with Hurricane Katrina. She met the artist, Michael Gorban, and helped him evacuate his gallery as the waters were rising. She has donated this oil painting to her local chapter of the Red Cross. Proceeds from the sale of this artwork will be used to support disaster relief efforts here in Wisconsin.
