Art Brokerage: Born in Berkeley, CA on Sept. 16, 1887, Raymond Montrichard became highly skilled at painting still lifes. Although seldom seen, his oils are realistically depicted and have the stylistic look of the 1930s. A long-time resident of Los Angeles, he died there on March l, 1937. Exhibtions include the California State Fair, 1929, and again in 1930; the Laguna Beach AA, 1930; the Artists Fiesta (LA), 1931; and the Pasadena Art Inst., 1932 (award), 1933.
