Hand signed and dated on front 1958. Hand signed and dated on the verso 2007. This beautiful New York Skyline portrays retro/abstract style New York City before the Twin Towers were built. This painting is featured on page 63 of the Five Decades book published by Harry Abrams, 2003. The book photo was printed from a transparency which was printed backwards in the book by error. Leroy Neiman viewed this painting in his New York Studio in March 2007. At this time Mr. Neiman again hand signed the painting and dated it on the back of the board when he inspected it. The 50 year old painting was cleaned recently to reveal the original vibrant use of color. This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity hand signed by LeRoy Neiman and a certificate of authenticity from the Art Brokerage. |
