Original signed bronze sculpture of a Centaur on a block of black marble. The Centaur is Neizvestny's trademark representation of himself, and his discontent with the Soviet Union. This piece was made at the beginning of the fall of the USSR. Purchased from the MAGNA Gallery in San Francisco in 1989. The certificate of authenticity was lost in transit, and Mr. Neizvestny's studio will not issue a duplicate certificate under ANY circumstances.
