Robert Peak has been honored with over 100 awards from the New York Society of Illustrators, including the Hamilton King Award, 1968; the prestigious Illustrators Hall of Fame, 1977; gold medals, 1971, 1972, 1975,1977,1981,1982; silver medals, 1962, 1964, 1966, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1974 through 1979; named Artist of the Year, 1961, by the Artist Guild of New York; over 150 awards from various organizations, including Art Directors Clubs of New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver, and New Jersey; Mead Library of Design; Advertising Club of New York; Artist Guild of Chicago.
