 B. 1949 - Jim Warren, "An American Original," is one of the most successful and creative painters in Contemporary Art, from the wild and whimsical to the sweet and sensuous to the subtle and surprising. In over 35 years, he has garnered a growing world wide reputation among prominent collectors, celebrities and connoisseurs for his amazing and magical surreal/fantasy imagery. His illustrations for book and album covers have added to his renown, including his Grammy Award for Bob Seeger's 1981 album "Against The Wind". Two art books have been published detailing his career: "The Art of Jim Warren" and "Painted Worlds". He has also done collaboration pieces with acclaimed Marine artist Robert Wyland.
