Provenance: Mysterious, rare, Carrara marble masterpiece, it depicts Adam and Eve in the palm of God's hand. Also known as "The Creator", this is a truly magnificent sculpture, especially when sunlight shines on the beautiful Carrara marble. It is exactly the same as Rodin's, executed later, in 1908, now in the Cantor Wing (first sculpture acquired by Gerald B. Cantor, renowned Rodin Collector) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
