ALFRED SKONDOVITCH BIOGRAPHY
 
B. 1926 - Possibly the last surviving member of the "First Generation" NY School of Abstract Expressionists, Skondovitch lives and works in Fairbanks, Alaska. He exhibited in the 1950’s in the Poindexter Gallery, NY and in Paris, France. He exhibited in one of the most important shows in modern American art history, TEN AMERICAN PAINTERS in New York City, with De Kooning and Diebenkorn, and also exhibited with Elaine and Willem de Kooning, Richard Diebenkorn, Robert de Niro Sr, Franz Kline, and many others.
