ARMANDO REVERON BIOGRAPHY
 
1889-1954. Boarn in Caracas, Armando Reveron studied painting at the Academy of Fine Art in Caracas in 1908. In 1911 he went to Spainand studied at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona and the san Fernando Academy in Madrid in 1913. After a trip to Paris he returned to Caracas in 1915. Armando Reveron sought a primitive life away from civilization and in 1921 he moved to the Venezuelan coastal town of Macuto, where he built a home and studio of wood, palm leaves and thatch which has long since been turned into a museum.
