ARTHUR WAAGEN BIOGRAPHY

Art Brokerage: Arthur Waagen (German, b. 1869 - d. 1910) was a well-respected animal sculptor who worked in the mid-19th century. Very little is known about his life. His most famous work is the large hunt group titled "Kabayle au Retour de la Chasse" of a North African horseman with his dogs and prey. He also created several smaller groups of Greyhounds, one playing with a Persian cat and another playing with a King Charles Spaniel.
