CLAUDIO BRAVO BIOGRAPHY
 
Art Brokerage: The Chilean artist Claudio Bravo was born on November 8, 1936, in Valparaiso. He began studying painting in Spain in 1945. In the years following, he worked with many noteworthy artists and presented his works in various exhibits. The Chilean painter created still lifes and portraits with photo-realistic accuracy. Because of the extremely precise technical performance of his work, Claudio Bravo is considered a hyperrealist. His paintings, drawings, and pastels are nearly impossible to tell from photographs, so exact are his techniques. Bravo lives and works in Tanger and Marrakesh.
