FRANK KELLEY JR. BIOGRAPHY
 
Frank Kelly Jr. is from Monroe, Louisiana, and born in Jackson County, Louisiana, Kelly is known for painting in a wide range of styles from abstraction to realism to impressionism. Most notably he depicts landscapes and figures from the jazz world. Frank Kelly was a business major at Grambling state University in Louisiana and became involved in an art program in college. There Dr. James Shane was a major influence on his future career. Kelly credits a major boon to his career at a one-man show in 1999 at the Schepis Museum in Columbia, Louisiana.
