Art Brokerage: Italian painter. Only one known document, dated July 1397, mentions Jacobello Alberegno, referring to him as deceased. Although he was faithful to the Byzantine culture made popular by Paolo Veneziano, Alberegno introduced to Venice, through Giusto de' Menabuoi, the new contribution of Giotto (Polyptych of the Apocalypse, Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice).
