JAVIER AREVALO BIOGRAPHY
 
Art Brokerage: Javier Arevalo was born on 29th april 1937 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He went to Guadalajara High School, were he won first place at an art contest in 1951. He began his art training at the School of Arts and Letters at Guadalajara in 1957. Then he went to the Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City, where he studied under Armando Lopes Carmona, with special talks on the subject of Art by David Alfaro Siqueiros. He graduated with a degree in Classical Art in 1963. In 1960, he won an award at the first Pictoral Festival in Acapulco, Mexico. In 1962, he won the Art Award Nuevos Valores, Mexico City.
