JEAN DE BOTTON BIOGRAPHY
 
Art Brokerage: (1895-1978) A well-listed French-American painter, illustrator and muralist, Jean De Botton is known for his genre, abstract and surrealist paintings. Born in France in 1895, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts. Jean De Botton exhibited widely both in Europe and the United States. In 1944, the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, California held a retrospective of his work. De Botton's works reside in many public and private collections. He died in 1978.
