Art Brokerage: Jerry Georgeff was born in 1948 in the coalfields of West Virginia where his father scratched out a living for the family. Though this beginning was simple and gave no indication that this coal miner's son would someday grow up to be an artist, it did sharpen Jerry's senses for the cultures of southern Europe and the world due to the diversity of the miners' heritages. Jerry was exposed to art for the first time after his family had moved to Dayton, Ohio, when his elementary school took him and his classmates on a day trip to the Dayton Museum of Art. At a young age he would fall in love with the masters of Impressionism. This inner love for art would finally surface in his mid-thirties, when he began painting seriously. Now, Jerry's images are highly sought after by collectors from around the globe.
