B. 1956 - The sensuous quality of Larry Horowitz's paintings and pastels reflects the artist's careful attention to traditional methods and materials. Horowitz is enthralled equally with the majesty of the landscape which he takes as his subject and the beauty inherent in the rich colors and subtle textures of his tools. The result is a carefully considered, articulate work of art which has an integrity born of a deep understanding about the process and purpose of painting.
