LEA FRANKLIN MCCARTY BIOGRAPHY
 
1905-1960 - Lea Franklin McCarty was born 1905 in Los Angeles, California and and died 1960 in Santa Rosa, California. He attended the University of Southern California and left the University to travel with Paul Whiteman's band as a drummer. In addition to music, he had various other interests including mining, horticulture, and ceramics.
