LIU SHAOHUI BIOGRAPHY
 
The artist Liu Shao Hui (born 1940 in Changsa, Province Hunan), who is one of the founders of the Yunan School of Painting, attended Central Institute of Applied Arts in Beijing. He has had exhibitions in the United States, Japan, Bulgaria, Italy, Hong Kong, Taiwan. Shaohuis has sometimes borrowed from the primitive and folk art He has worked as a designer for films, and received the Japanese Institute of Fine Arts Exhibition Prize.
