MARY FINLEY FRY BIOGRAPHY
 
Born in San Francisco, CA on Nov. 28, 1908, Mary Finley was a graduate of UC Berkeley where she studied under Hans Hofmann. She was an art teacher at Los Angeles City College (1935-42), UCLA (1950), Occidental College (1950-51), and Chouinard Art Institute. Early in life she was Mrs. Jack Fry; she later married real estate broker Irvin C. Thomas. The artist was a resident of Studio City, CA until her demise on June 19, 1964.
