RASHID GARIFOVICH MAKSYUTOV BIOGRAPHY
 
Rashid Garifovich Maksyutov was born in Kislovodsk, Stavropol territory in 1925. He studied at Moscow Intermediate Art School from 1939-1943, and at the Moscow Art Institute from 1947-50. Maksyutov also served in the military from 1943-50, and he began exhibiting in 1943.
