Tsvetana Yvanova is a multifaceted Artist, who was recognized at an early age as a prodigy. Born in Bulgaria, in the city of Montana, whose origin dates back to the Roman Empire, Tvetana started drawing at the age of four. During the formative years, her talent grew in a supportive family environment. Inspired by DaVinci and the Renaissance, with a deep admiration for the works and life of Gianlorenzo Bernini, Tsvetana Yvanova sought formal instruction in Art while still earning her Masters degree in Landscape Architecture in Sofia. She studied three years with Prof.Angelakov, one of the best fine art instructors at the Bulgarian Art Academy " N. Pavlovich". Later on, in Los Angeles, she enrolled in the MBA program of one of the top ten business schools in the US- Pepperdine University. Tsvetana's Fashion design career flourished with remarkable couture and Pret-a- Porter collections in Sofia, Athens, Paris and New York. In Los Angeles - she continued working in both fields-Art and Design. For the past eight years Tsvetana has been working under the guidance of American Sculptor Max Turner. This close collaboration has defined her style and perfected her sculpting techniques. Simultaneously, Tsvetana Yvanova has begun exploration of the Contemporary genre in painting. This resulted in an impressive collection of large-scale expressionistic canvases. Tsvetana's first solo sculpture exhibition titled " Untamed Spirit" was held at Gallerie Vendome on El Paseo Drive, Palm Desert, CA in 2005. Tsvetana's bronzes are in the collections of Mr.Oliver Stone, the Oscar winning Hollywood Director and other eclectic professionals throughout California. Following the success of the first show - a second solo exhibition in Newport Beach was held in July 2005, and two exhibitions in June- July 2008 - which included paintings as well. The Artist continues her work from her studio in Los Angeles. Currently under development is a series of large size portrait based paintings, titled "Human Impressions'". The entire series is expected to be completed in early 2010 for a brand new exhibit.
