Packing and Shipping Art

PACKING AND SHIPPING ART

Art Brokerage recommends having your artwork packed by a professional. Packaging is very important and must be done properly to avoid any damage to the art. If the art is not packed sufficiently and arrives damaged it will be returned to you at your cost and the buyer will be refunded in full. UPS can help you pack and ship items up to $25,000 in value. For large or high value items please use Craters and Freighters or other similar companies which can be located online using your zip code. In the event an insurance claim is made all packing materials must be inspected and found to be sufficient by the shipping company before it will be paid. A claim is more likely to be processed by UPS if the work was packaged at one of their stores. If you have concerns you may wish to document the condition of the piece and packing materials prior to shipping.
