Alexander Eremin

Art Brokerage: Alexander Eremin Russian Artist: b. 1977. Alexander Eremin, was born March 4, 1977 in former Leningrad city, USSR, which are doesn't exist anymore. Both of my parents are professional sculptors. They were my first art teachers. I studied art all of my life. In 1996 I went in Saint-Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design. That is an old and respectful art school in Russia, with strong traditions,which based on classic and modern art. As a student I took part in exhibitions and symposia. I graduated in 2002 as an "Artist of a Decorative Plastique Arts", which is similar as MFA in Russia. After that I started to work on custom as well as make my own artworks. Unfortunately, in those times I did not have a lot of time for my own art because of economic purposes. Anyway I did my sculptures and took part in exhibitions and art contests. In 2004 I made an exhibition and enter with it in a Union of Artists of Russia. In 2006 I got a diploma "For the significant contribution to the development of Russian art", from Union of Artists of Russia. In those times I also took part in a lot of international sculpture symposiums, which was a realy great practical school for me. I would say that I had a great school I graduated in and one another is practical, that was sculpture symposia. In those symposia I made a lot of public sculptures worldwide. I'd changed my style of art several times during my art practice. Now I came to wood as a material, and the meaningful idea wich transforms to a sign. Next what I want to do is to come closely to a real life, what means look more on "nature".
