Art Brokerage: Antonio Gonzalez Collado Spanish Artist : b. 1930. Antonio Gonzalez Collado-was born in El Ferrol (Galicia, Spain) September 29, 1930. He was 6 years old when civil war broke out in Spain. At thirteen, Antonio had to leave school to work. As a teenager, he demonstrated a flair for drawing. At 17, he left to join his father's leather goods, exiled in Tunisia, with whom he remained until 1956. Collado keeps intact his passion for drawing and executes sets for several associations. He exhibited his first works. Meanwhile, in 1955, he was sent to France to participate in the championship gymnastics team, and then discovered both Paris and the Louvre, which decides to return in 1956 and stay there. To live, he had to do several different jobs, which did not prevent him from attending evening classes at Montparnasse 80 as a pupil of Adam, and Martial Lesbouni. He also attended the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere. In September 1959 he met Evelyn Wavrant, who later became his wife. The couple had three daughters, Manoli, Laurence and Geraldine. By 1961, he began exhibiting in various galleries in Paris and Japan. Gonzalez Collado is the Spanish painter of modern dancers, small rats of the Opera, clowns, cats, groups of teenagers and sometimes landscapes of the Ile de France. Listings wanted.
