Art Brokerage: Chris Noel American Artist: Chris Noel creates paintings and three dimensional assemblage objects out of whatsoever he can find. His work is made from contemporary artifacts of our time and makes a stunning statement about who we are. Besides being fun and thought provoking, his creations are relics of our current condition. Chris has always been fascinated with the raw emotional draw and unending sense of discovery that abstract images offer. His graphic design background and many years of creating compelling visual communication concepts have made him a perpetual student of form, color and composition. Acrylic remains his choice of paint but he also uses a mixed media and just about anything else he thinks will make his statements work Today Chris devotes himself to a full-time pursuit of his own unique style of art. He finds the process of transforming undesirable items into desirable ones to be very exciting and he likes the idea that art can come from almost anything. All of his work is made from or painted on discarded artifacts of a wasteful culture that continues to provide an abundance of material. At the very least this creative process is an excuse to preserve some very ordinary things of modern society and to recycle things that would otherwise end up in a landfill or get incinerated into the Earth's atmosphere.
