    Art Brokerage: Hella Jongerius Dutch Glass Artist: The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius works on the cusp of design, craft, art & technology to fuse traditional and contemporary influences, high and low tech, the industrial and artisanal. In her search for the balance between mass-produced objects and traditionally crafted one-offs, Jongerius breathes new life into forgotten designs and techniques. The source of insiration for Jopngerius’ new collection are the 18th century figures by Donimikus Auliczek depicting the four seasons. Hella created archetypes or products corresponding to the character of each season; a hand mirror (Spring), a teapot (Summer), a pitcher/vase (Autumn) and a candlestick (Winter). The ‘Four Seasons‘ are decorated with historical stylistic elements and porcelain miniatures. Listings wanted by Art Brokerage.
