He is so popular in fact at the man has a three year waiting list and his artwork goes through a 20 to 40\% price increase annually!! He uses very rare and limited materials from NASA like their spectrum glass, your medium red teardrop has spectrum glass that he does not have anymore so at this point the rarity is quite a bit higher. As we know in the art world rarity equates to value so the red pieces definitely hold more value.
