Art Brokerage: James Gucwa American Artist: James began his art education as a teen studying at home through an art correspondence course. He has attended art colleges in New Jersey, N.Y.C., Tennessee and Arizona, and studied in private apprenticeships in the lithography studios of Dan Weldon, and the late photoreal painter, Gregory Gillespie. He has had scores of oneman exhibitions in the finest fine art galleries across the U.S., (including multiple shows in N.Y.C. San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Scottsdale), over the course of the past twenty-eight years. James has acquired a long list of private and corporate collectors. His works have hung in several U.S. museums, in addition, he has executed a large scale historic mural in a National Historic Landmark Hotel, a Southwest Museum, and in theater lobbies.In 1999 he was made an “Officially Licensed” fine artist for Harley-Davidson, Chevrolet/Corvette, and Mattel Toys/Hot Wheels Division. Kingneon is accomplished in brush and airbrush, and his paintings have been featured in many national and international fine art magazines, and books, and has won many national awards. Currently he has three hardcover tabletop books of his paintings available,(for sale on this site). His book,“Signs of Art, the paintings of James “Kingneon” Gucwa,” (published in both hardcover and soft cover/2001, in limited edition), has quickly sold out. He plays jazz saxophone and EWI, (electric wind instrument), and has written two novels.
