Story / Additional InfoThe Mediterranean region has beautiful geology, both above and below sea level. Most people do not know the cataclysmic history of the sea - one dry low region of the earth was filled in quickly due to a breach at where is now the traits of Gibraltar.Monaco was many one of many and places I chose to enshrine in bronze. The local sea life represented is a mix of Neptune Grass and seaweed, Rocksnail, Scallop, Turbans, and a Benny tail to boot. All species that rode in with that incredible event and have flourished since. The scallop shell was bent while in wax for aesthetic reasons.
