Story / Additional InfoImages from historic gun auctions of major collections. 6 shooter included text carved into the material. As seen in bank teller windows, also shaped like a tombstone. Interference Blue and white Paint black dye 1.25 thick recycled bulletproof cast acrylic sheet material, Free standing can be placed in front of a window on table or shelf, Very detailed engraved patterns showing part of the image repeated a key piece to the gun series. Texts read: "Newly Discovered Incredibly Rare" " Powder Colt Etched Panel" Frontier Six Shooter Revolver" " and "Well-Documented" " Factory Deluxe Engraved" " Relief Carved Grips". The artist used recycled bullet proof bank window material 1.25 inches thick. The material is carved using jewelers engraving tools into the bullet proof material. From the artist: I had cast a few gun images hand large bullets in aluminium in the 1990's all of these sold and are in numerous collections. These carved images show the engravings that are on the original guns. The engraved images are 100% hand done and one of a kind. I color the engravings with dyes,then sand them. I then paint them with acrylic paints. They are translucent if placed with any light source behind them including in a window.

Art Brokerage: Nick Agid American Artist: b. 1958. Born in 1958 in Los Angeles, California to Herb and Lucy Agid on Labor Day. He grew up in Rolling Hills collecting and digging old bottles, insulators, fossils and minerals. His room was like a museum that he would show visitor trough and give lectures. At school he excelled in Art but also ended up studying History, we worked for a short time in the entertainment industry of TV show for major networks. He tried working with his father and in other businesses. However, in 1984 he left for Italy to rent space at a marble studio he found his way to Pietrasanta a small town in Tuscany where Michaelangelo what found his marble. After returning to Los Angeles after several months he continued carving sending back several tons of Marble form Italy as well as well as a variety of tools. Pieces ranged from figurative to abstract. With a number of pieces, he put on his first show at the corporate offices of Tova Borgnine. Most everything he made sold the event was a big success, and got him the attention of the art world. He went on the sell his works to many personalities in Music and entertainment business. He went on to create the "Stone Post Card" project, which got him wide international press attention. He asked famous people to reply and many did. Next, he created cast metal pieces "Brazen Aphorisms" with text these sold well and he was told by the head appraiser from a major auction house that his pieces where in nearly every collection they had looked at. 11 of these as now in LACMA's collection. Nick also created new materials that have been shown at Material Connecxion in plastic metal and glass. These have been shown worldwide and samples have been made for major companies for new product ideas. Mr. Agid taught full time at Art Center College of Design where he innovated classes and tours, Setting up special real-world opportunities for his student as well as touring over 150 factories. He also did this at Otis College and for a number of alumni groups including MIT. The last several years his work combine recycled bullet proof material he carves and paints. Listings wanted.
