Story / Additional InfoThis highly sought after, sold out limited edition photo was captured by Peter Lik's then girlfriend Nikki Ventner in Nkaya Pan, Kruger NP, South Africa. What makes this such a special piece, is that it portray's the vulnerability that these large majestic creatures continue to face in the wild where the threat of extinction from poaching still exists. The photo captures "Ele" taking a nap; peaceful and serene and unaware of the impending dangers around her as she gently rests her head up against the trunk of the Marula tree after eating the fallen fruit that has been said make elephants feel "drunk".
