Art Brokerage: Rob Tillberg American Artist: After spending 18 years in St. Pete, FL. Rob and his wife decided it was time for a change and made a move out to Oregon. His passion for art began at a young age in his hometown of Glastonbury, CT. He still has vivid memories of drawing life-sized versions of his Star Wars figures on multiple pieces of paper that he taped together. His love for art continued through high school and into college attending Radford University in Virginia. Where he majored in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design along with spending a semester in Greece to earn a minor in Art History. He then continued on to his graduate studies at Central Connecticut State University. The subject matter, style, technique, size, substrate and medium of his work is all over the place. Viewing his portfolio would lead you to believe it to be the work of several different artists, for he claims to be easily inspired and always up for a new challenge. Though his palette's emphasis of colors & contrast can be seen throughout as he weaves between the use of inks, acrylics, oils or whatever it takes to create his vision. Whatever that may be, yet over the past few years he has been drawn to the freedom in abstract art. Listings wanted.
