Story / Additional InfoI aquired this beautiful watercolor portrait done by Award winning British Watercolor Artist, Rodella A Purves in 2011, from a very dear Psychologist friend of mine who collected & grew Orchids for many years. I believe this was purchased from Rodella A Purves herself, Dr. Goebel, being a personal friend of hers. I'm not sure of the date it was printed, although I believe it was in the early 80's. It was also professionally hand matted and glass framed with beautiful colors of a matted frame matching, embracing the deep vibrant red-wine burgundy color or the Orchid itself. It has 2 signatures on it- One signature is hand written & signed, Rodella A Purves in pencil- the other signature printed & signed in watercolor with her name in her finest form. This picture gave me many years of beautiful enjoyment, and complimentary fashion. There is not a date on there when this portrait was done, although it is in very good condition and has many more year's ahead to show off it's finest beauty
