Art Brokerage: Roy Carruthers South African Artist: Roy Carruthers, born 1938, South Africa. He is an illustrator, painter, graphic artist and sculptor. Carruthers lived around the world after leaving South Africa, had a career in advertising and emigrated to the US in 1968. In the 1970's he tried other artisitc pursuits under the aegis of Editions Press, San Francisco, creating a group of extraordinary lithographs and sculpture. Listings wanted.
