In 1969, he graduated from New York Institute of Technology, and in 1976, graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography. Interspersed between academic degrees, Stan served his country with a tour of duty in Japan. After The Brooks Institute, Stan taught photography at Every Woman's Village. A career in freelance Photography occupied five years of Stan's creative endeavors. A Renaissance man in the truest sense, Stan Solomon is a self-taught artist.
