In the early 1930\'s his family left for Astrakhan, where Vasily was admitted to the Art College. In the early 1941 he started his military service in the Navy doing his studies at United Caspian Naval Flotilla School when the Great Patriotic War began. In 1942 Vasily Belikov served as a sailor on the\r\ngunboat \"Bakinsky Rabochij\" in the Caspian sea. In 1943 he already fought near Novorossiysk in the battalion of Marines. In 1947, after demobilization, Vasily Belikov arrived to Penza, Russia, and was admitted to the 3-rd year of the Penza Art College.
