American Artist Carol Satriani Carol Satriani: began her career as an art teacher in the New York Public School system. After moving to northern California she continued as a practicing artist. Ms. Satriani also served as Executive Director of Artworks Foundry and the west coast branch of Tallix Morris Singer, a fine art bronze casting facility in Oakland, California, which produced monumental sculpture for internationally known artists. She has worked as a commercial illustrator for Disney Corporation, Norton Publishers, Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, Ibanez, Japan and New West Magazine. Ms. Satriani has exhibited throughout the United States and is a recipient of numerous awards, including First Prize for Painting at the 1999 Sausalito Arts Festival. She is a member of Project Artaud, the oldest continuous live/work art cooperative in the nation and the Artists' Guild of San Francisco. Ms. Satriani has been featured on KRON, Channel 4. Her paintings are widely collected by the public and by corporate clients, including the Pebble Beach Country Club, the Knight-Ridder Corporation and the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. |
