    It was my husband's 50th birthday this year and I wanted to surprise him with a piece of artwork that he saw 20 years ago and never stopped talking about.

    When I started looking for it, I had no idea where I was going to find the piece. Thankfully, the process turned out to be much easier than I had imagined. I did a google search and found the artwork on Art Brokerage. After I inquired about the artwork, Helen got right back to me and reached out to the seller.

    Pictures of the artwork looked good but I was a little nervous buying online without seeing the artwork in person. However, there was a guarantee so that I could return it if it wasn't in the condition stated.

    Thank you to Art Brokerage and Leonard P. for their successful efforts in selling my Calder lithograph. The beauty of using Art Brokerage is that once bids start to come in, you communicate with Leonard P. or your representative , as to what price is acceptable to you. In the meantime, you get to continue to appreciate your art until an acceptable bid is brought forward. Once a price is agreed upon, the process is easy. You have the art professionally packed and Art Brokerage sends a UPS label to send the art to the buyer. In my case, the buyer received the art on a Tuesday and three days later the funds were in my bank checking account. No nonsense--nice and easy.
