Medium: Original ink and watercolour drawing, 1962, signed ‘Moore’ lower left and signed again, dedicated and dated ‘for Gerald Cramer/fromHenry Moore/1962 (lower right). Size: 29.3 x 24.3 cms. Provenance: A gift from the artist to Gerald Cramer. Gerald was an important Art Dealer, based in Geneva, who published prints by the major artists of the day. His son, Patrick, wrote the Catalogue Raisonne of the prints of Henry Moore. A certificate of provenance from Patrick Cramer accompanies the work.1) Gerald Cramer, Art Dealer, Geneva (To who the work is dedicated by the artist) 2) Patrick Cramer, Geneva, who received the piece, by inheritance, from his late father.
