Later that same year, with an invitation from the Korean Olympic President , he painted and exhibited at the Olympic Summer Games in Seoul, South Korea. The Pacific coast then became his home. He painted his first oils at age twelve. After leaving high school, he self-taught his skills in colour and technique as a commercial artist. In 1975 he ventured the world, broadening his knowledge of the arts. Four years later, he returned from Europe to further pursue his desire and passion to paint.
