Known for his views of life at the turn-of-the-19th into the 20th centuries, artist Alan Maley depicted elegantly dressed women in genteel settings that emphasize their leisurely pace of life. Many of his scenes are from Europe, especially Paris. Born and raised in England, Alan Maley came from an artistic and talented family who recognized and encouraged his abilities from the time he was a very young age. Early in his career Maley worked in set painting for the motion picture industry, including Walt Disney. Listings wanted.
