He earned his Master’s Degree at the Academia Italiana di Belle Arti, Lucca, Italy. From 1986 to 1990 Bottero resided and worked in Paris. Since 1990 he has lived and worked in New York. The artist has exhibited at Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Art, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Museum of Latin American Art, Laguna Beach, CA, Museo de Arte de Ponce, Ponce, Puerto Rico and Cultural Center Recoleta, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
