Story / Additional InfoUpon the canvas lies the masterpiece "Ponte Minich" by Fedor Mukhin, revealing the grandeur of Venice. Before us stands a bridge, an elegant thread binding the past to the present, as it spans across two shores. The stone and brick pontoons rise majestically above the water. Their arches, akin to welcoming arms, embrace the river, crafting a cozy passage for travelers. Beneath the bridge, the water whispers softly, mirroring the splendor of the architecture and the heavens above.Carved from stone on one side of the bridge, the emblem displays the lion of the Marquise, a symbol deeply ingrained in Venice's rich history and magnificence. Angelo Minich, the inspiration behind the bridge's name, was not merely a surgeon but also a generous philanthropist. His legacy, bequeathing thirty thousand lire to the city for comfort and education, echoes through this painting, immortalized in its strokes.
