Michael Fatali - United States

Art Brokerage: Michael Fatali American Photographer: Michael Fatali is on a mission to share the beauty of Gods creations and to celebrate the Land and Spirit. He is been capturing and creating with light for 17 years. All of Michaels images are made with natural light, no colour filters and not digitally enhanced. The type of photograph is called cibachrome. Cibachrome is a rare hand-made photograph that is created in a darkroom, using optics and light. These works of art are archival, which means that the color will not fade and will last for generations. It is a treat and a rarity to view this type of photography, from the use of natural light to being handmade in the darkroom. He is very proud to still continue to use this older technology to create photographs instead of using the new digital way to print a photograph. Michael Fatali continues to use this beautiful artistic way to take photographs, so that you will continue to view and feel the emotion and beauty of these sacred places. Fatali was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1965. His passion for the mysterious landscape and luminous colors of the Colorado Plateau prompted a move to the wild slickrock country of Northern Arizona. Now able to extensively explore the remote back country including the mystical and (at the time) relatively unknown slot canyons, Fatali was able to evolve his unique photographic voice.
