This was one of Romero Britto's last painting he painted using the old tape method. Light and Dark colors taped off and painted so they do not have the black line. After that he used the sharpie when colors were hand painted by assistants.
Story / Additional InfoSeller worked for Romero Britto in Sales at Britto Central, Miami Beach. This is Romero Britto's "TAPE METHOD" painting. He used tape to separate the colors to make more precious/sharp lines. He prices these paintings 2X more than "NON tape method" done after 2002. His reasoning is that it took him 2X longer to paint using the "TAPE METHOD" compared to "NON tape method". Please see appraisal attached in 2017 $90,000.
