PeruArt Brokerage: Victor Del Castillo Peruvian Artist: b. 1968. Victor Del Castillo was born in Lima, Peru in 1968. At the age of 3, a trip to El Callejon de Huaylas became his first source of inspiration. The rich and deep colors of the sky and landscape moved him to draw and to paint sketches to capture their authenticity. Despite his young age, the quality of the drawing was such that his future as a great artist was clear. At the age of 17, Del Castillo joined the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in Lima. He has experimented in a variety of styles, including Fauvism, Abstraction,rnand Informationalism, ultimately settling on Realism. His main focus of work is on still life. Victor is well regarded in art communitiesrnaround the world and his art is collected by well known collectors. Listings wanted.
